Miravoice builds AI voice agents for telephone surveys and interviews.
From answering questions to doing development work
The Miravoice team had tried a half dozen different AI assistants, including Claude Tag, Codex, and Devin, before finally trying Nori. All of the other agents were extremely limited in the actions they could take and the systems they could connect to. Danny, the CTO, called them “completely unusable for development.” Before using Nori, the Miravoice team was only able to use the other Slack agents for basic Q&A.
A working cloud agent in ten minutes
When using Nori, the Miravoice team had a clear goal: support the non-technical team so that they could ship changes to product without having to figure out an entire dev box setup. For a voice agent company doing polling infrastructure, this was a challenge for everyone else on the market — no other agent was able to support the ability to dynamically register phone numbers, securely tunnel into the remote box, and spin up an entire remote dev environment.
Nori set it up in 10 minutes.
The Nori agent guided the team through connecting GitHub, Google Workspace, and BigQuery. It read through the repo to figure out what was required to get the phone calls. Ten minutes later, Shreyas, the COO, was able to land a PR and test it in a dev environment. It automatically provisioned a phone number to test the changes, and this was all set up faster than it would take to set up the dev environment locally. Shreyas: “I was completely blown away. We love Nori because it just works.”
About one quarter of merged PRs
Nori is now responsible for about one quarter of merged PRs at Miravoice. And it supports a bunch of ops and data work — the team can call BigQuery, work with production data, get business insights, and do complicated dev flows like loading model weights. The same environment analyzes unit costs across tokens, speech, call duration, and telephony, while documenting everything in a Slack thread. And all of this can happen from their laptops or phones while they are on the go.
Anyone in the Slack workspace can now ask Nori to change the bot, get a phone number, test the conversation, and hand the pull request to engineering for review before production.
Danny: “Nori easily saves me 5 hours a week. I can’t begin to describe how much of a multiplier it is. There’s no going back.”
